As wild as you want

Beyond the Cabin
From adrenaline-fueled trail rides to quiet moments at the dock, every activity is yours alone, set across 1,570 hectares of private forest.

We don't offer packages. We craft your stay.
A collection of on-site essentials is set up and ready at the cabin for effortless days on the lake and in the forest. When you want to go further, we connect you to the region through a network of trusted local experts, private guides, and specialist providers. We coordinate timing, logistics, and recommendations so your stay feels seamless from the moment you arrive.
Certain activities are provided by certified local professionals and are subject to availability, season, and weather.
An intimate dinner for two or a celebration with twenty. We shape every detail around who you bring.
The estate transforms with the seasons. Summer unveils the lake, autumn the forest, winter the silence. No two stays feel the same.
Wake at dawn for the forest or sleep until noon. There is no schedule here, only yours. Every day unfolds at your own rhythm.
Every detail, arranged
Tell us how you arrive, who you bring, what each day should feel like. We hold the rest, before you set foot on the estate.

Helicopter from Montréal, private cars from the airport, the route arranged end to end.
The chef from Mont-Tremblant. Menus shaped to the season.
Days arranged at your pace. The trails, the lake, the dock, the fire.
Massage, yoga, sauna. Quiet rooms. Slow mornings. No schedule.
Whatever shape your stay takes, we arrange the details. You stay present.
Méchante Cabane carries an activity range that runs across the four seasons and across the registers of the day, from the slowest morning to the fastest afternoon. On-site and ready when you arrive: the sauna heating in the late afternoon, the kayaks and the paddleboards waiting at the dock, the trail network through the forest, the snowshoes by the door in winter, the floating platform a few strokes from shore. Beyond what is on-site, the Cabane concierge can put together anything the group asks for: a private chef cooking at the residence, a masseuse or a yoga instructor on-site, ATVs and snowmobiles delivered through a long-standing equipment partner, a guided morning on the lake, a seaplane scenic flight, husky dog sledding for a winter run through the woods. Whatever the group dreams of, the Cabane concierge arranges it, often before you have finished asking. The estate stays yours.
Included in the rate: the sauna, the kayaks and paddleboards at the dock, the floating platform, the trail network, the snowshoes in winter, fishing from the dock under the guest's Québec touristic licence, the BBQ on the terrace, two electric boats on the lake. À la carte through the Cabane concierge: the private chef cooking at the residence, massage and yoga at the house, ATV and snowmobile rentals, a guided morning on the lake with a licensed fishing guide, the seaplane scenic flight, husky dog sledding, the wakeboard boat across Lac David. One offer, one invoice; the à la carte items are confirmed on the proposal the Cabane concierge prepares for your group.
The residence sits at the edge of a private lake, yours alone for the stay. No public access, no other boats, no other docks. At the dock and ready when you arrive: kayaks, paddleboards, two electric boats, a small fleet of accessories for swimming and lake play. Mid-lake: a floating platform a few strokes from the dock, the centre of long August afternoons. Fishing has two paths: self-service from the dock under the guest's Québec touristic licence (available online; the Cabane concierge points you to the link before arrival), or guided through the Cabane concierge for a morning on the lake with a licensed guide who knows where the trout sit at sunrise. Wakeboarding happens on Lac David, ten minutes away, with a boat brought in through an equipment partner; the Cabane concierge coordinates the outing, the gear, and the timing around the rest of the day.
Twenty-six kilometres of private trails run across the estate, looping the lakes, reaching the high points, weaving through the forest. Electric bikes are at the residence and ready when you arrive. Snowshoes by the door in winter. Trekking poles and small pack supplies on request from the Cabane concierge. Through the Cabane concierge: ATVs on the trail network and the back trails in the warmer months, snowmobiles across the property and onto the regional networks in winter, both arranged through a long-standing equipment partner who handles the rental, the delivery, the instruction for newer riders, and the routing. The trails work for a slow morning walk, a half-day loop, or a longer ride that loops back to the dock for a swim.
Yes. The Cabane concierge coordinates a private chef from Mont-Tremblant who cooks in the residence's professional kitchen for the duration of the stay or for selected evenings, depending on the group's preference. The kitchen is sized for cooking at scale (multi-course dinners for twenty-plus guests, professional ventilation, a long table adjacent to the cooking line). The chef sleeps at La Maison du Ranch, the staff annex less than three minutes from the residence, so the kitchen is the only shared space and the family stays in its own rhythm.
Yes. The Cabane concierge arranges a masseuse or a yoga instructor at the residence, on the schedule the group chooses. The indoor sauna is on the lower level and ready when you arrive. Quiet rooms, slow mornings, no schedule beyond the one the group sets. Wellness on the estate runs at the pace the group wants, not at the pace of a spa booking system.
Summer is the lake: kayaking, paddleboarding, the floating platform, swimming, wakeboarding on Lac David, long evenings on the terrace. Autumn is the forest: the colour, the longer hikes, the BBQ at sunset, the wood fire after dinner. Winter is the snow: snowshoeing with Benoit, husky dog sledding, snowmobiling across the property, off-trail XC skiing, the sauna heating against the cold. Spring is the in-between: the light returning, the trails opening up, the lake warming. The Cabane concierge shapes each season's stay around what the group wants from the days.
