Booking Méchante Cabane begins with an enquiry, not a checkout. You send your dates, your group, and your wishes through the form on the booking page. The Cabane concierge reads every message and replies shortly, with availability and a first sketch of the stay around the dates and the group. From there, we work the details together, the activities, the chef arrangement if you want one, the arrival logistics, until the picture is complete. A 30% non-refundable deposit confirms the booking and the dates are yours.
Rates at Méchante Cabane start from CAD 30,000 per week for the entire residence, 20+ guests, the whole estate, all on-site experiences included. The seasonal calendar (the rate moves with the season), the inclusions, the à la carte menu, and the booking math live in the downloadable pricing guide. Pricing is flat regardless of headcount, no per-person uplift. Included with every stay: the residence and the entire 1,570-hectare estate exclusively for the duration of your stay, the staff annex less than three minutes away, daily housekeeping, linens, firewood, Starlink Wi-Fi, the office space, the kayaks and paddles, two electric boats, the dock, the floating platform, the trails, the sauna, and the Cabane concierge orchestration of the stay end to end.
Stays at Méchante Cabane start at four nights. Most bookings run seven to fourteen nights for the family week or the milestone gathering. Below seven nights, a pro-rated rate applies; the details are in the pricing guide. A Thursday-to-Monday or a Friday-to-Tuesday hits exactly four nights and fits.
Briefly: 60 or more days before arrival, full refund less the 30% non-refundable deposit; 30 to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund; inside 30 days, no refund. The full booking and cancellation policy lives in the downloadable pricing guide. Travel insurance is recommended for any stay at this register.
A 30% non-refundable deposit confirms the booking. The balance is due 60 days before arrival. Bookings made inside 60 days require full payment at confirmation. A refundable CAD 5,000 security hold is taken at arrival and released after departure. All payments and all invoices are in Canadian dollars. Payment by bank transfer or by credit card; the Cabane concierge handles the mechanics.
Méchante Cabane is in the Laurentides, Québec. By car: roughly two hours and forty-five minutes from Montréal. By helicopter from a Montréal heliport: a forty-five to sixty minute flight, landing at a designated landing area on the property. By private jet: Mont-Laurier Regional (thirty minutes' drive) for mid-sized aircraft; Mont-Tremblant International for large-cabin private jets. The Cabane concierge coordinates the route end to end, including private cars from the airport.
