This website is provided for information, inspiration, and initial enquiries regarding stays at Méchante Cabane. Content may be updated as the property, services, or operating details evolve.

Use of the site must remain lawful and respectful. You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, or reuse its content in a misleading way.

An enquiry does not place dates on hold and does not create a booking by itself. A stay is confirmed only once dates are accepted in writing and the required deposit has been received.

All bookings are subject to availability, guest fit, and the separate reservation documents issued for the stay.

Public pricing begins from CAD 30,000 per week. The public minimum stay is four nights. Stays of four to six nights are prorated from the weekly rate. Public pricing is shown in CAD only.

A 30% non-refundable deposit confirms the booking. Cancellation terms currently operate as follows: 60 or more days before arrival, full refund less deposit; 30 to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund; inside 30 days, no refund.

A refundable security hold of CAD 5,000 may be required before arrival, as specified in the booking documents.

Méchante Cabane is rented to one group at a time. The property is arranged for 20+ guests, or 20 guests comfortably, across five master suites and two bunk rooms.

Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Pets are considered case by case. No generator is currently installed, so utility outages remain part of the wilderness setting.

The Cabane concierge may coordinate services connected to a stay. Some of those services are delivered by third-party operators or licensed providers and remain subject to their availability, scope, and operating conditions.

Hunting is not offered. Fishing, when requested, follows the applicable Québec licensing rules described in the stay materials and concierge correspondence.

Unless stated otherwise, the content of this website, including copy, photography, video, and branding elements, belongs to Méchante Cabane or is used with permission.
